Last Night of the Proms in aid of the Royal British Legion on the 25th October at 7.30 at Morley Town Hall

Christmas Concert 13th December at 7.00 in Morley Town hall. The music includes Swan Lake and 1812 Overture as well as Christmas Carols featuring the choirs of local schools. Inkeeping with the music there will be an soldiers and faries fancy dress competition for young audience members.

Community

The orchestra has a strong community ethos and aims to promote equality and diversity through classical music. We try to involve as many local people in our concerts as possible by offering subsidised tickets to community groups and local schools. We are especially keen to make music available to children, ethnic minorities, older people and people with low incomes. We hope to inspire anyone to enjoy and participate in music making and to provide an opportunity for smaller groups to perform with or alongside us.

We have previously performed concerts in aid St Gemma’s Hospice and our forthcoming concert is in aid of the Cape Town Philharmonic Youth Development Project.

We are always pleased to hear from any group who is either interested in collaborating with us or attending one of our concerts.
